Out of the Blue ------------------------------------------------------- Notes: -This source has less distorion, static, and has an all around better sound than the previously seeded LL49. A definite upgrade. - "Davis's first live date as a leader since the October Birdland broadcast. His All-Star group was booked at Birdland for one week, May 1-7. Two nights were broadcast on WJZ. Aside from the between-tune announcements, this is probably the entire set performed on this night. After the Birdland engagement, Davis took a group into Blue Note studios for the first of three studio dates." -Credit to Peter Losin http://www.plosin.com/ - Thanks to Peter Losin for source!! - QC done by Bgreen md5 b1224883f58ec285c2b90d8ea8976747 *md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t01.flac 4c059d0332ed70ea6463329caf20ced2 *md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t02.flac c4881a4053d8a21d7636bf2a68394d73 *md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t03.flac e9e97951a19f2a1b458e896c3aaaaddc *md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t04.flac ffp md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t01.flac:630ab041b28b45d788de24effbaabfd8 md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t02.flac:9e114c3a7a56f327a1f0ce95c59b5b75 md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t03.flac:b242508768f948d17c70fbf2da599484 md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t04.flac:65c05526d729706379f35ee4df5806e7 shntool length expanded size cdr WAVE problems filename 6:21.73 67380140 --- -- ---xx md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t01.flac 6:19.59 66994412 --- -- ---xx md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t02.flac 4:42.38 49834220 --- -- ---xx md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t03.flac 5:47.57 61344908 --- -- ---xx md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t04.flac 23:12.02 245553680 B (totals for 4 files, 0.3999 overall compression ratio) spectral analysis from TLH md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t01.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 49% md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t02.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 49% md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t03.wav: track looks like MPEG with probability 80% md1952-05-03.fm.LL94.d1t04.wav: track looks like CDDA with probability 43% old ffp 18 - Track18.flac:630ab041b28b45d788de24effbaabfd8 19 - Track19.flac:9e114c3a7a56f327a1f0ce95c59b5b75 20 - Track20.flac:b242508768f948d17c70fbf2da599484 21 - Track21.flac:65c05526d729706379f35ee4df5806e7
