Notes: Sound is a little distant but otherwise good (starts low for first minute but then has standard sound), crowd noise not distracting. Show has better playing than previous night, esp. Lady w/ a Fan and Brokedown Palace have tasteful guitar. The song mix this night features songs not played very often. Derek Trucks has a clean sound and does a good job of rhythm support.
Matt Vernon (1/4.8) SHN / 2 A- A- View 21932
Notes: Coresound Cardioid - nice soundfield ambiance on headphones. some audience noise as expected for fob. I liked the the song selection and playing. Good transitions between songs and a real mixture of song pacings make this a good listen that stands up over time. Derek Trucks has a clean sound that works well with this repetoire. [6/3/2004]
