Notes: Zeppelin Digital, Volume 5. Lineage: Tracks 1-6:?Cassette (2nd Gen) > DAT > CDR. Tracks 6-7:?Cassette (1st Gen) > DAT >?CDR. "This combo is based on a speed corrected 2nd Gen clone of the shorter source that was the first to surface. I used the more common tape (known from the Jazz bootleg) of 1st Gen for the fragments missing from the shorter source (some initial tune-ups, the second part of 'Communication Breakdown' and 'Long Tall Sally' encore plus a few seconds between 'You Shook Me' and 'How Many More Times'). Originally I intended to use a 4th Gen >DAT > CDR clone of the longer tape, which sounds a bit better than the 1st Gen. But I had to scrap it because of the excessive diginoise". Tomislaw

Notes: The sound is bright... really bright, similar to Intimidator almost, but it sounds really good for today's standards too. Now if plant wasnt at the rock bottom back of the mix (you have to listen REALLY hard for him at times), and I dare say that his amp failed or something. Makes a nice kareoke show if your into that kinda thing... ^_^

Notes: Source II started circulating mid October 2003 1. Intro/Tuning 2. Train Kept A Rollin' 3. I Can't Quit You 4. Dazed and Confused 5. You Shook Me 6. How Many More Times 7. Communication Breakdown 8. Long Tall Sally 9. Radio spots Notes: This is the complete second source used for the last couple songs of the ZD release. What's interesting is that the PA problems that are so common in the first source seem almost non-existent in this source. You can hear the same people yelling to turn it up as in source 1 but Plant's voice comes through here probably the clearest of all. Jimmy's guitar is slightly in the background. Towards the end of How Many More Times the balance changes a bit but it's still the same source. There are also some radio spots which are interesting to listen to.
