Notes: WNUR-FM radio - Northwestern University - Evanston, Illionois Bono Radio Interview - "The Music and Words of U2" Length: 34 minutes (12 minutes of interview, music has been removed) Quality: Excellent source: low gen audio cassette > soundcard > Cool Edit Pro > WAV > mkwAct> SHN Bono conducted this radio interview on WNUR-FM radio in Evanston, Illinois the day after their April 11, 1981 Chicago concert. In addition to the Bono interview, this radio program contains a couple tracks from the Boy album (since removed). *- Additional notes: I have edited this interview heavily. All of the music tracks have been removed (the source being the Boy LP > radio > cassette, etc). Most of the interview was either out of phase or only available in the left or right channel. That being said, most of this show is in mono. And since it's only voice it seemed appropriate. The interview has been broken down into 7 segments, along with appropriate fades into and out of the music (the tracks from "Boy" have been removed). The full version (with music) is available elsewhere on the hub. Please keep this text file if you choose to download this edited version of the interview and share it with others. Thanks.
