Notes: Taken from the title: "Smoking St. Louis" (No Label) Lineage: Master > DAT? > CDR This is the second, more complete source for this show. The first source tape is missing the beginning of the show and only has from 'Kashmir' onwards. This second source is taken from the master tapes and sounds distant and fairly muffled throughout. One for the hardcore collector only.

Bill Tripp (0/5) FLAC / 2 View   Bertha Remaster of the SBD Bootleg "St. Louis Blues"
Notes: 2 FLAC / 3 CDR - Bertha Remaster of the SBD Bootleg "St. Louis Blues" EVSD) Notes by remaster: Digitally remastered using a custom built, Dual-DAW, nicknamed "Bertha". Completed on January 11, 2005. Under Spectral and Wav analysis, the original source was found to have excessive audio compression applied, and some type of noise reduction. By listening test only, the original source was found to have excessive high end eq applied. Together, the audio compression and eq have resulted in a highly abrasive sound at flat setting. The noise reduction was well done and did not affect the "Bertha" process. Most "Bertha Remasters" are done using original, unprocessed sources. The less that has been done to an original source the better the results. Reversing the effects of a highly processed source such as this one is very difficult. I did not expect much, but I am pleased with the results. The original track timings were used for retracking.
