Notes: Title: Symmetry of Power > SBD Recording. Label: Liquid Led "Signature Series" (LLP-1012-020). The clear stereo quality is nicely spread across the channels with the bottom end having a subtle warm presents. IMO the 1st 2 tracks have a very "Dry" SBD Quality, then the sound seems to open up & become as goodas any commercial release. Outstanding Performance.

Edgar H (4/5) / 3 View   Stan Gutoski AUD source
Notes: Stan Gutoski's master reels x 3 @ full-track mono @ 3 3/4 ips > Bill Bratton's 1st gen reels x 3 @ full-track mono @ 3 3/4 ips > wav (24/96) > wav (16/44) > FLAC. An excellent but incomplete mono recording. Unfortunately Stan wasn't able to document the first half hour of the set due to getting into a car accident on the way to the show but what he did capture is of excellent sound quality with almost no audience noise. Of the two Zeppelin shows Stan taped in 1975 this is the better of the two recordings.
Edgar H (4/5) / 3 View   "Godfathers Of Grunge" (A Group/Personal Project)
Notes: What we've done to make this project: - We've tried to balance the instruments as much as possible, and bring out instruments that were buried in the raw recording. Originally, Jimmy's guitar work was a little low in the mix, while Jones bass was coming in more strongly, which is a unique thing because usually Jonesy needs to be brought up more than any other member of the band. So we wanted to bring Jimmy up in the mix without losing that beautiful low end. - We've corrected the tape speed issues that plagued the raw tape source, originally the whole show was running a little too fast on all 3 discs of material. - We've brought the volume down to a more reasonable level and made it easier on listeners ears, originally the volume on the raw tape source was running a bit too hot. - We've tried to bring out more of the audience presence in the recording, giving the soundboard less of a flat sound to it, and more of a feeling of actually being the audience at the concert.
