Some footage from section 403, a little in front of side stage (on JPJ's side). This was filmed on a Canon 540 camera at its highest video setting (640x480 @ 30fps). Which has made for a decent enough memento. We were lucky enough to have the two people in front of us pull a no-show. So, for the first 3/4 of the show we had an completely unobstructed view. But, about 3/4 of the way through two of the biggest knuckleheads I've ever came across moved up from behind us and sat there. They were terrible. One guy tried to act and dress and look like Robert Plant. Try getting your own life, its more fulfilling. And the other guy just wanted to act like he was singing opera. Both kept standing up and waving their arms in dramatic poses, etc. Everyone around was pissed. Especially us, having to sit behind them now. I made a point to capture a few seconds of just them during Misty Mountain Hop. Some people have their El Guapo, some have a Newfoundland Asshole. We had these two knuckleheads. They kept sitting in the aisles as well and kept getting ousted by security, so that’s when they spied those empty seats and moved in. They moved out for the last few songs, only really ruining about 3-4 tunes fortunately. If you guys (you know who you are) come into possession of this...you guys are assholes. From Newfoundland or not. I got the first two songs in their entirety, but had to choose how to spend the rest of the memory cards on the fly. So, after that i tried to capture about 2-4 minutes of almost every song after that. I do have access to some other footage that my brother took (about 50-60 more minutes, some overlap) but for the sake of getting this out, I ran with what I had on me, as it would take a few days to get the other stuff transferred and edited. The sound is OK, keep in mind its from a small, small mic on a Canon 540. I tweaked it slightly, as I did the video, to try to even it out a bit better. The video occasionally is slightly blocked by people coming up the aisles, or by me fudging the controls and slipping it into a lower video mode (only happened twice for a few seconds I believe). Even though I've done this a million times the PCM audio would not be accepted by DVD Architect. Maybe I missed something as I'm running on no sleep and plenty of jet lag. I had to downgrade from PCM to AC-3. But as a plus, the audio was only OK, so it wont make that much of a difference, and for this, where its not a full show, it will help to keep the download smaller. All in all it captures the night well. But also feels like a bad tease at times with the incomplete tunes. Enjoy the Zep blueballs until a more complete version comes out. Its a Whirlwind Production because of the timing. I started editing one hour after touching down after a 10.5 flight/customs ballet. But, I wanted to get this out to everyone. Notes: This is another video source from the infamous gig, also shot from the left side, but in a way that allows you to see what is projected on the giant screen behind the band... It is also incomplete... No screen shot, sorry, but it's like the other one, if not a little better, although some may disagree with this.. Picked up as is from DaD, did not change anything from the original folder, so if you grabbed it there you can help seed it here... It is in the 5+4 At The O2 Stereo and DD 5.1 files here also. There was some negative feedback about it before anybody finished the download, but after the person got to 100%, nothing but good things said. Thanks to all that left positive comments. Huge THANKS go out to ALL the tapers, everyone did a spectacular job. Every "original" source has a spot in this mix. Only 9 "Original" audio sources available, Futura's list has 19 entries. 4 are matrixes (did not want to use a matrix to make a matrix), 4 are duplicates (mastering of same source), and 2 are unavailable, leaving 9 "Original" sources. The 5+4 At The O2 (both DD 5.1 and Stereo) have 5 sources straight thru, and 4 "cameo" appearances. Front Left is Per Schoeps Mk41 "Remastered", Front Right is Clay AT 831 HRTF "Mastered" Version, Rear Left is Third Eye Audio Source (Marantz PDM660 & Neumann KM184's),Rear Right is JCE Cardoid SP-CMC-20 "We Did It", Center is Wendy Label "Legendary Reunion 2007". First 15 seconds of the show is 100% Wendy, then Per takes 20 sec to fade in. At 25 seconds into the show, Clay takes 20 sec to fade in. At 35 seconds, Third Eye takes 20 sec to fade in, and at 45 seconds, JCE takes 20 sec to fade in. At 65 seconds into the show, all 5 sources are separate. KoolKat is a God, this is different than his version, not necessarily better, just different. This is a 4 cam multitrack edit, with 1 second dissolve between edits, no curtains or page rolls, simple 1 sec blends. My edits start at 3:24 of disc 1, any edits before that are KK's, any after that are mine. The BBC News clip is just 1 minute long, starting at 11:20 on disc 1. The 3rdEye/KatzEye video is superior in quality to IanA and Smagin, but there is a giant screen behind the band, and that is where IanA/Smagin really shine. They catch a good view of the whole show including the backdrop. But beware........The backdrop is a few frames behind real time. The video is NOT out of synch, lots of places you can see both the "live" and the "backdrop" at the same time, and they do not match. Good examples are D1 @ 16:55, D2 @ 2:45 and 7:40. These examples are entirely on the KatzEye Video, if you have already downloaded that video, you can go look at it, the Video IS in synch, only the backdrop may fool you. A couple of funny things I hadn't noticed until I started editing this, on D1 @ 6:13 Jason hits his head with the drum sticks, and on D2 @ 48:50 Jimmy gets kicked in the butt by Robert, it is much more evident on the KatzEye video, I have IanA's view here. There is more, but those were 2 funny things I wrote down while editing.
