Notes: Audience shot, center, from the pit. Camera is very shaky, and gets kicked around a lot. Picture is blurry. Audio is taken from a different source then the cam for the songs, and edited in very well. You can tell because the in-between song bantor is from the cam's audio, and it is barely audible, so it is a very good edit.

Notes: Great show. There are some small soundboard glitches, but they are quite minor.

Recording Notes: This is the complete Den Haag show (total show time: 87:42). There are some bumps @ 9:57 of IGaF, where it sounds like someone dropped a microphone on stage or something. The filler included is an acoustic session at a French Virgin Records music store, played less than a month before the Den Haag show. Some minor imperfections have been edited and the vocals given a little lift. Den Haag Show Notes (thanks to Five Horizons): Ed has more words for stage divers: "Just a couple of words. In my whole life, I never wanted to be a policeman or anything of authority. But in fact, all my life I've been in a crowd like this, and whenever I was back there and people throw up onto the stage and jumped back off it always looked so cool, but when you are up here, see all these peoples' heads bein' smashed in by boots and stuff, it's really fuckin' ridiculous. Prior to 'Black' Ed notes, "You know, we canceled tomorrow night's show just because I knew I would sing with everything I got tonight ... a very good decision I think." 'Suggestion' is an extremely rousing version, renamed 'Saying No in Den Haag' by Ed. Stone and Mike sing an ear splitting acapulco version of Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' before 'Porch.' Ed's brother, Jason, jams with the band during a long, lively version of 'I've Got a Feeling' including parts of 'Hunger Strike,' 'Say Hello 2 Heaven' and 'Jane Says' (by Jane's Addiction). Excellent show. The Process Step 1: Apply parametric EQ 210hz .875 Q +2.9db, 961hz 2.0 Q –3.9db, 2610hz 1.19 Q +3.1db This took out some of the hollowness and flattened the spectrum. For pre mastering. Step 2: Do a frequency split to extract vocals, split at 400hz low 1400hz high. Apply Studio reverb plug in. Medium Hall 20ms. first delay, 1000ms reflection delay, 100% stereo width, 60% wet effect folded back in. This was used to fatten and warm the vocals. Sonically you can’t hear the delay as I only put in 60% of the processed signal against the original. Step 3: The vocal track was then mixed into the pre mastered full track at 100% Step 4: Multiband compressor. This is used in a fashion to not remove the dynamics, but just to get the levels up and really fatten the sound. The process was more of a soft limiter as the thresholds were set very high. Crosspoints: 246hz, 1257hz, 7573hz Band 1 thresh. –9.5db, gain +5.2db, ratio 2.1:1 Band 2 thresh –11.4db, gain +1.9db, ratio 2.3:1 Band 3 thresh –12.0db, gain –2.0db, ratio 2.3:1 Band 4 thresh –10.0db, gain –3.7db, ration 1.8:1 Step 5: Aural exciter added to give some sparkle Applied at 2033hz center with 0.6Q with 17.9% and widening at 16.3% Step 6: Apply subsonic fft filter to remove rumble 100hz with 9db per octave roll off Step 7: Track with CDWave Step 8: Load files to harmonic balancer for final wav shaping and minimize strong and weak frequencies.
