Matt Vernon (1/4.8) SHN / 3 A- B- View 2549
Notes: Sound quality below average (muffled)with noticeable crowd noise and THE WHISTLER. Despite the orchestra location, reflected sound dominates. Around D1T5 sound increases as the PA is adjusted. Start of 2nd set vocals weak and sound different than 1st set. Show rating: just short of hot. Set 2 great song mix - Watchtower, CRS, Little Light. Amusements: Imagine to mark Lennon's bday; and "The Whipping Post Crowd Request Award" goes to Tennesse Jed. I'm definitely looking for a better recording of this show.
Matt Vernon (1/4.8) SHN / 3 A- A/B View 10707
Notes: Microtech Gelfell source. Good sounding tape for the Beacon. Some audience chit-chat until set 1 gets up a head of steam. The whistler makes an appearance at this show. Imagine performed to remember John Lennon. Highlights - CRS has a good jam. Set 2 solid throughout
