Mastered by Lzndr with: Tascam 112MKII -> Behringer SNR2000 Denoiser -> Symetrix 533E 31-band EQ -> DAL CarDeluxe -> Soundforge 5.0 -> CDR-Win -> EAC -> MKW. Band Lineup: James Hetfield - Vocal & Guitar Kirk Hammett - Lead Guitar Jason Newsted - Bass Lars Ulrich - Drums. Notes: No, the tape wasn't running fast... The band was. This is a loud, brutally paced show from a band with something to prove. This concert was the source for a popular vinyl double LP bootleg called "Assassin." Here's the story I got on this tape... The taper was playing the show for a friend, and this friend absolutely had to have a copy right that minute, so they ran one off on the only thing they had handy... A dual deck boom box. According to the story, that copy was the one used to make the Assassin bootleg. This story came from a friend of the taper. The tape that came with that story was the 2nd generation cassette I used to master these discs. It was definitely not a cleaned up copy of the vinyl boot... The edits and cuts present on the LP's are not here. After hearing the tape, the story had a ring of truth to it. But hey, if you've got a better copy, I'd love to hear it. I'm far from an expert on Metallica bootlegs.
