It is almost complete except for tape flips and includes more between song banter/crowd than the other sources already circulating.

| Notes: | notes - Caution ! of interest for the completist or historic audience tape collector - spectral analysis shows a node ~2kHz in left channel, sometimes in the right too, not much above 7Khz either channels - mild to moderate distortion characterizes many tunes, especially vocals. somewhat distant sound. Rate this a B- at best, but it is complete, more or less, and the jams suffer less from hot recording levels so the interesting bits have a higher sound rating d1t1 - volume increased near end of song d1t7 - tape flip after song d1t8 - some speed variation, crackle d2t1 - vocals have distortion d2t2 - distortion severe at times d2t4 - distortion minimal during the jam :) d2t5 - beginning notes missing; overload distorted throughout d2t6 - beginning notes clipped d3t1 - tape flip 35:42 Here is Kevin Weil's comments on this source: " [I] came across a second version of this show on cassette and thought this might make a nice addition here. i say "second" because my cassettes are very low generation (labeled 3rd gen and sound about there) and contain the entire show, without any of the between song space removed - as opposed to the edited version noted on deadlists. i'm not sure if the source is different in sound quality because i've only had this intact version, but it's certainly at least a half grade better than 5/7/70, if not on par. anyway, the fact that the show is intact makes it somewhat rare, whether sbd or aud, because you can really get a feel for the pace of the evening. not to mention the particularly fine dark star and consistent energy throughout. i have my original set of CDs that i made the transfers (Nak > Fostex D5 A/D @ 44.1 > CD), which i can donate to someone interested in vining/treeing for other interested parties. even better would be a line on who and where the complete cassette masters sit with..." | |||||
