Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras World - Old Algiers, LA M.O.M.'s Ball "Position: Impossible" disc 1 [70:54] 11 tracks disc 2 [79:59] 12 tracks disc 3 [72:13] 13 tracks # Noise reduction on the last 3 minutes of Cissy Strut using Diamond Cut and SoundForge (painstakingly with the pencil tool to "draw out" the crackles in literally scores of frames per second.) Some residue of crackle remains, most notably toward the very end of the song, as further processing would have had detrimental impact on the music. If one prefers the unprocessed version, simply skip (disc 3) track 12 when burning (or playing) and track 13 will fit seamlessly after track 11 same as track 12. Original DAT recording and CDR transfer by Chris Callahan: Radiator's FOH Engineer Kenny Samuel's soundboard patchbay > Tascam DA-P1 DAT masters ; DAT masters > HHb CDR Noise reduction, new tracking and disc layout by Eric Vandercar: CDRs > PlexWriter 16/10/40A / EAC v0.9 prebeta / SoundForge / Diamond Cut Audio Restoration / [mkw Audio Compression] / CDRWin 3.8d-e > audio 4x74 CDRs [shorten 2x74 CDRs] Jewel case artwork by Michael Jurick may be found here: http://www.radiators.org/snafu/moms_ball_cdpage.html A zip file is also included with CD Stomper artwork.
