| Notes: | sbd - updated disk 1 w/ BRRBlues. Overload distortion on Sugar Mag and BRRBlues, otherwise fairly clean with a good mix. The Truckin > TOO > Rat > Sugar Mag begins to stretch out the jamming even though this combo on paper was common in 71. The Truckin' jam begins to acquire some of the licks that would be on the E72 album. TOO has a MAMU tease that doesn't become explicit, and in some places the jamming meanders. There are some spacey bits. A snapshot of the band evolving and for this run of shows one available in sbd. Not a core holding in my book. [2005-12-14] | |||||

| Notes: | SBR (complte set 2 w/ NFA etc.) - Sound mix is good but there are some drop outs and distortion (piano) with OMSN being especially plagued by these artifacts. This is a fall 71 style show, with only TOO having an improv section which is a standard exploration of this tune and not a special rendition. I would rate this a tier 2 show - after you've heard the must hears for the year you might give this a spin. | |||||
