| Notes: | 1) Bertha beginning cut; Comes a Time has an unknown lineage aud spliced in after cut. 2) Greatest comes after Ramble On on both tapes regardless of Deadbase+Deadlists. 3) The music portion of this show is from very low generation reel(s) and sounds quite good. One point of note: the master tapes seem to have suffered from reel decay and some tunes in set 2 reflect the flaws prominently. FYI, The second source (PCM) had the exact flaws but were masked slightly due to the additive effects of hiss, noise, etc. 4) The DAT had most tuning missing so for the benefit of the completists among us I took the opportunity to splice them back in using Samplitude. In these cases you can hear the difference between the DAT source and PCM but at least it's all there (some would argue why do it, they can re-edit it out if they like.) 5) From initial research it seems to be the most complete version in circulation. | |||||

| Notes: | gdADT [2006-04-01] Sound quality improves as show goes on, as crowd becomes less chatty. Nice capture of the echo at Roosevelt Stadium. What is here from set 1 is standard 72. Set 2 starts strong with a tasty GSET followed by a candidate for the best PITB from 72. At ~ 15 minutes its short enough to not get wanky. The Truckin > Dark Star > CAT is also superb and a definite must hear. | |||||

Lots of banter about the equipment sound issues. Yet another 72 PITB that is quite entertaining. More banter about getting the monitors and sound system to work. Disk 3 Truckin > Star > Comes A Time is why you want this show. Truckin played snappy. Dark Star touches most themes I've heard for this song up to the first verse. The spacey destructionist, angst ridden portion is nicely concluded by Comes A Time. You'll be taken for a nice ride through all kinds of sonic landscapes on this disk. | |||||

| Notes: | sbd - miller upgrade. best version as of 3/2006 [2006-04-02] The sbd mix and quality is very good. Most of the patches are of short duration. Set 2 (of 3) is where the action is with a PITB/ Truckin > Star > CAT combo which is very good. The rest is standard 72 with set 3 having energetic GSET and NFA/GDTRFB/NFA medley. | |||||
