Notes: notes - this recording is of historical interest as a document of early audience recordings. it is plausible that this is the same recording noted by Dick Latvala in his notebooks sent by Steve Hopkins. Check out the audience yelling out the count down to Big River as noted by Dick! - mild to moderate distortion (from "hot levels" when recorded?) throughout. This is unfortunate because this recording was from a very nice location judging by the "FOB" quality of the sound. - intermediate copies were stopped between songs to edit "uneventfull Dead air" while preserving some of the more biting crowd-band point-counter point - I (Matt Vernon) have not done much fix up work (partial drop outs isolated in one channel, digi-zaps etc..) on this source. - presumed tape flips at end of d2t5 (MLBJ) and d3t1 (Stella Blue) - if you leave off d2t1 (tuning) and put d3t1 (Stella Blue) onto d2, you can just get the whole set 2 continuous jam on one disk - Portions were released as part of Dick's Picks Volume 14
