Notes: pre-fm sbd - the Compendium has a critical review of this night, saying that there isn't much emotion behind the playing. This of course was the 76 style. This is claimed to be a pre-fm, but it sounds like a significant chunk of the tween song gaps are edited and sometimes the next song cuts right in. Maybe they were editing the station commentary. Also, the mix and volume seem to very a bit, check out LLR for example where there is a brief volume drop. The set 1 closing PITB is a flashback to 72 for me where the band would stretch out this placed song to wet your appetite for set 2. PITB worth checking out. High Time had good harmonies and some tasty Garcia lines that demonstrate's his command of tone. The LIG > Dancin' segue is good and Dancin' was nicely jammed. Cosmic Charlie is brutely cut off with a zap of diginoise. Summary: [10/3/2005] Sound quality not on par with other "pre-fm's" with some mastering issues, specifically start of some songs almost cut off in attempt to remove banter I imagine. There are some good songs but the flow to this show is plodding most of the time so I'd rank this bottom quartile of 76.

Notes: NFA encore via CousinIt FM [2007-03-06] For those wanting the complete performance, here's the encore. After I reviewed my comments of the main body of the show, maybe the band decided they needed to up the energy level a tad with this encore.

Show has the typical unusual song choice but doesn't ever get into a sustainable groove. Comes across as a serious practice session of the repertoire.
