Notes: | Flaw-free, from a digitalperspective. All the "Dead Air" has been cut from between tracks. There is some amplifier hum that is audible(particularly at the beginning of Stella Blue) and it sounds like someone kicks an amp 3:35 into Might As Well. There is a brief overlap from disc 2 to disc 3 (Phil pounds out the intro to the TOO at the very end of disc 2, and disc 3 starts right there with that intro). | |||||

Goode Notes: Digitally remastered using a custom built, Dual-DAW, nicknamed Bertha, by [email protected] on 2/14/2002. Some tracks are from an FM source. All PreFM versions are this way. More than 30 small dropouts and glitches were repaired. Most of these problems seem to be the same as would be found in HD transfers where the buffer settings were improperly set. Regardless of whether it was a HD transfer, or a PCM transfer, it is one of the worst digital transfers I have seen. Hopefully, the work done to correct these problems makes listening a bit more enjoyable. jay Post Bertha: De-glitched by Chris Frisco at the Frisco Refinery, Oct. 2002. An additional 34 dropouts and glitches were repaired. Only the strange remain (the following glitches could not be fixed without altering the wav, so were left alone): d1t5: 4.00, 8.28 d2t3: 6.33 d2t6: 1.20 d2t7: 1.03, 1.46 d3t10: 3.40 ________________________________________________________________________ |
