These reels were his safety copies made from a root tape source (the one that can be attributed to the very first Destroyer Vinyl release). Bill had at least 2 sets of reels, one a listening copy he also dubbed copies off of for other people and this safety copy that sat unplayed for close to 30 years before they were finally digitized here. This is a high resolution 24/96 copy of the transfer with some minor volume corrections not applied to the original posting of a lower resolution copy of this transfer.

Notes: | I think it's a soundboard. I guess it's a good show, though, as I commented on my other Zeppelin show, sometimes these guys are just too much. Why Grateful Dead jams don't bother me, but 20 minutes of No Quarter drives me out of my mind, I don't know. But that's the deal. Still, it's a good show, if you're into this kind of thing. The main issue to be aware of is a couple of songs are clipped -- the first and last songs of the show, as it turns out. Each one fades in a few minutes after the beginning of the song.
