Notes: This fantastical, awesome and extremely special soundboard acoustic show is in duo form with Julie Wolf. Julie, who is perhaps best known as Ani DiFranco's keyboardist for four and half years, is a Seattle based multi-instrumentalist and singer who, besides making music of her own, has established herself as a sensitive, eclectic, collaborative, first-call side player. She has performed and/or recorded with numerous luminaries in the jazz, folk, funk and rock/pop worlds. She's brought her memorably simple, pure musicality to stages across the world, as well as to a growing number of critically acclaimed recordings. Wolf has had a seasoned jazz life, having been part of Seattle's jazz community since the mid 1980's . Her twin sister Kate is also a highly regarded performer. Julie's live gigs and recording dates have taken her all over North America, Europe, Japan, and also to the better parts of the world like Australia and (bla!) New Zealand. In Julie's own words from her on-line diary, "The Cockburn tour was magical. I loved it. Bruce kicks ass". Ed, it is here...mmmm... but you are at Coachella as I type...You "may" get a copy....one day. Great find, especially for a freebie! Thanks so much Mike. Hope it gets warm up there soon!
