"40" Notes (?1999 www.u2-flom.de): Very good to excellent audience recording. The audience noise is at a pretty low level in the background except when they are chanting and singing with Bono. However, the high end is missing and at times Bono sounds like he's singing through a cardboard tube. There is a noticeable edit about halfway through "Bad", possibly from switching tapes. Bono says, "Eric Clapton" in "Party Girl", during a 10 second (or so) guitar solo, and the crowd cheers. Not to be confused with the 3CD boxed set, KEEPING THE FAITH, VOLUME 2 (1984-1988). This is the original pressing on this label. Notes (?2002 www.u2wanderer.org): Although the artwork on these commercial cds lists Eric Clapton as playing on Party Girl and Two Hearts Beat as One, this is incorrect. Bono during the Unforgettable Fire Tour would often make reference to the Edge as Eric Clapton during his introductions. He does the same in the Toronto concert of December 1984. These CDs were sold seperately not as one package, but both originated with the same bootleg company, Golden Stars. | |||||
