| Notes: | This was the last date that Maiden would be playing on Ozzfest, as they had prior tour commitments in Europe that did not allow them to do the entire run of Ozzfest. Over the course of Ozzfest, Bruce has been making comments about the American audiences, MTV and Ozzy- typical Bruce rants. It seems Sharon was not happy with this (although she shouldn't be surprised, Bruce has been making comments like this over the last few tours). During Maiden's intro, Big Dave, the stage manager for Black Label Society, began chanting OZZY! OZZY! OZZY! He did it again at the end when Bruce was trying to thank the fans, but gut Dave got drowned out by the crowd chanting, Maiden! Maiden! Maiden! A number of times during their set, the PA cut out while Maiden was in the midst of a song. And there was a group of people in the audience throwing things at Bruce, including eggs. There is a bunch of reports on Blabbermouth, I guess the people had ozzfest laminates and the group included Kelly Osbourne. After Maiden left the stage, Sharon came out and said how much they love iron Maiden and their crew, but Bruce is a prick. She got booed off the stage. | |||||
