Notes: This is a speed-corrected version, courtesy of dadgad prod, of Empress Valley's latest soundboard release. Props to dadgad for his efforts!
Edgar H (4/5) / 3 A A+ View   Godfather Records (GR/478/479/480)
Notes: My personal favorite of the '75 American Tour - Plant's voice is good, Jimmy is playing well, and Bonzo+JPJ are really holding down the groove. Not to mention a drop-dead soundboard recording, done right by Godfather Records.
Edgar H (4/5) / 3 View   1st gen cassettes(TDK SA 90)x3>Nakamichi 670 pitch & azimuth-adjusted playback...
Notes: JEMS: Previously uncirculated set of unmarked tapes for this show transferred with Dolby B on as per Mike's notes on the tape labels using an adjustable outboard Dolby B unit. This is the 1st time (May 2010) these tapes have ever been digitized. The sound is completely unaltered except for pitch correction during playback and fades added for each of the tape flips.
Edgar H (4/5) / 3 View   "The Beachcombers" (A Group/Personal Project)
Notes: Remasterd SBD. What we've done to make this project: - We've corrected the tape speed issues that plagued the raw recording, the whole tape was originally running about 2% fast. - We've reduced some of the "hotness" in the recording, bringing the volume to a more reasonable level. - We've fixed the click found near the end of "Moby Dick". - We've tried to balance the instruments as best we could. - We've tried to bring out things that we're buried in the raw recording (cheers, comments, clapping, etc) - We've tried to recreate a better sense of ambience and a feel of the acoustics of the venue as best we can.
