Roy Martin\'s Music Collection (5/5) FLAC / 0 View   mix of 2 audience sources (FF059)
Notes: Audience recording (a combination of 2 separate sources) - cleaned up, segued and smoothed. It's seamless - the intention for me was to put it onto a DVD-Audio. The best place to split it for CDs would be before "Stairway to Heaven", whose start is missing. Source 2 is pretty rough sounding, and source one is reasonable, but very hissy. Moby Dick is probably missing after Dazed and confused. Hurrah! Notes: Label: TDOLZ Vol.028 Lineage: CDR copy > EAC (secure mode, test & copy) > WAV > FLACFrontend (tested & verified) > FLAC level 7 This is a rough recording and not for the casual fan (I know I've heard that somewhere before!), but still I found it very enjoyable while checking before uploading. So, here is another storming show from the Euro tour 1973, warts and all.

Original version notes: "A small silent gap just over 2 minutes into Dancing Days has been edited out, the edit sounds smooth to me. "Disclaimer: this slightly edited and speed corrected version of these chopped-up recordings is not meant to be definite, but an attempt to make this show more enjoyable to listen to. The sound has not been altered apart from the speed correction. I do not claim to have hit the exact right speed/pitch. The French spoken announcements (by a guy calling himself Laurent, who may have been the actual taper of one or both sources, his announcements though have only been inserted at the end or beginning of the tracks from source 1) have been tracked separately so you can leave them out if you want."
