Comment
*The first two opening songs " Immigrant Song & Heartbreaker " were not recorded by the Taper.

The minor cut at the end of "Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp" is due to the cassette tape running out during recording of the concert.

"Since I've Been Loving You" and "Celebration Day" that followed "Black Dog" were recorded but accidentally dubbed over years latter (The intro to "Stairway To Heaven" was also dubbed over)
.It is conservatively estimated that had all the songs been documented the actual concert length would have been timed at approximately 170 minutes, thus making this performance one of their
longest sets for this period."

This newly surfaced source is a major upgrade over what was previously in circulation.

Notes: This DVD presents the different video sources covering the Sydney concert on February 27th 1972. Also included are the press party which took place on the 22nd, and an interview recorded on the 28th, along with a slideshow of pictures from the concert and the press party. An Australian promo clip of Whole Lotta Love (with no Zeppelin-related footage) is also included. The first 8mm source is the famous footage that was used for the clip "Immigrant Song" on the official 2003 DVD. It was shot with several cameras running at different speeds. Apparently, some of the footage was shot at 18 fps, some other at 24 fps, and everything was transferred to video with no frame rate conversion. As a result, the raw transfer runs way too fast. It's presented here speed corrected and synched to audience audio recordings. The second and third 8mm films, as seen on "Assemblage II", are likely sourced from a high gen video tape, hence in poor quality. They have been synched when possible. All 8mm films on this DVD use sound from the Sydney show, with a little help from audience recordings of the Aukland (February 25th) and Brisbane (February 29th) shows. A full recording of the Sydney show is not available at present time. The 16mm concert film is the black and white footage partially shown on "DVD". It's presented here speed-corrected, in the right order, with the sync at the end of WLL fixed. The press party footage is the same as on "DVD".
