Thank You* 18. Rock And Roll* * soundboard source but from a different unknown gen>dat copy of the same recording, end of Thank You only from this tape through the end of Rock And Roll Length: 175:13 Notes: There are umpteenth millions of versions of this show so here is another one to throw in to the fray. These tapes presented a real challenge to repair and transfer but the end results are worth were worth the labor. The sound quality varies throughout but with some mastering this particular tape source has a shine to it that is missing from other sources along with a proper transfer of an analog source. The tapes cut out like most every source towards the end of Rock And Roll so a different tape source of the same soundboard recording was used to complete the show. All other cuts where left as is. | |||||

Notes: | Live In Japan 1971 Last Stand Disc 13CD box set Flac Re-seed September 23, 1971 Budokan Hall, Tokyo September 24, 1971 Budokan Hall, Tokyo September 27, 1971 Municipal Gymnasium, Hiroshima September 28, 1971 Festival Hall, Osaka September 29, 1971 Festival Hall, Osaka This is a reseed of the 1971 LSD box set I seeded here in late 2004. The 1971 tour of Japan in my opinion is the mighty Zeppelin at the peak of its powers. These are ALL audience recordings, with sound ranging from fair to great. More detailed information on the shows can be found at the bible of Led Zeppelin live information, the excellent "Underground Uprising" website, starting here: http://www.uuweb.led-zeppelin.us/1971.htm I think this is a great collection, and would really be enthralled if Messrs. Page, Plant, & Jones would consider releasing some of these shows officially. Source: Trade->EAC->Flac 8 Artwork included.
