This event celebrated the opening of Giorgio Armani’s two newest Emporio Armani stores, both located on Madison Avenue in New York City. Guests included Sarah, Duchess of York, Naomi Campbell, John Kennedy, Jr., Mike Tyson and Michael Keaton. Sheryl Crow and the Fugees also performed. A preview of the 1997 Spring Armani Collection was presented prior to the music. The event was filmed and later broadcast on VH1.
