Notes: FOB naks presumed to be a Barry Glassberg recording. The sound is upfront and clear without annoying audience while still picking up the audience reaction. Set 1 starts with a well played Half-step > Franklin's that shows Jerry is present and accounted for out of teh gate. Other highlight for me was Peggy-O. Set 2 starts with 4 great 79 songs, Scarlet > Fire and Estimated > Eyes. All 4 are great. The aft end of set 2 is standard for 79, a Peter >Miracle > Bertha >Lovin. These are well practised this year so I don't get that excited about them. The energy ;level of this show is up there and each set has extended blocks of music with good flow and playing. If you like 79, this will appeal to you and the audience tape is very good quality.

Notes: sbd - overall good sound on the sbd and Clugston executed nice cross faded patches. The aud is well matched to the sbd, so this source provides a complete show. See my review of the aud tape. Stood up well on a second hearing with a professional consistency throughout. [2005-08-31]
