Notes: | This day is more interesting than 7/28/73. The Jam before Wharf Rat is unique, it begins with a typical spacey/noddling part that might be heard in a Dark Star then transitions into a Fire on the Mountain theme. Most songs have splices right at the interesting parts which are bothersome. If you weren't there I'd listen to other A rated shows before getting this one.

Notes: | flac16; source: aud (unknown gen) > ??? > wav > flac; remaster of shn id 28882 via SirMick [2008-01-09]Sir Mick delivers another nice upgrade - the Jam > Wharf Rat is well known as an exceptional jam on the must hear list.

Notes: | [2006-09-12]From the info file:" This is the same recording as the principal source for the Audience Devotional Tree Round 26 - October, 2004. That was a really nice patched version that made use of the other circulating audience source to create the most complete audience version of this great show. After downloading that version, I discovered my old cassette of the soundcheck. To my ears, my cassette sounded like perhaps it was a one-less generation than the principal source of Audience Devotional Tree Round 26. Also, happily, Sugaree is present in its entirety. In addition, a little post-show chatter from Garcia, Graham and Cutler adds a little of the ambience of this historic show to listening experience."

Notes: | Soundcheck: Recording by Jeffrey Siniawsky and Joel Smith front row, 15' from stage, mic attached to top of lean-to tent via Noah Weiner Audience Devotional Tree Round 11 - Note: Soundcheck separated from 7/28/73 [2007-02-01]This is a very good recording considering the outdoor venue. No intrusive crowd. Has excellent Bird Song and an amazing Jam>Wharf Rat that is unique and a must hear.

Notes: | source: aud (unknown gen) > ??? > wav > flac; remaster of shn id 28882 via SirMick [2007-10-07]This is the preferred version of the Pantagreul aud. Very good for an outdoor venue at this date. Also has the always tasty Jam in set 2.

Notes: | flac16; Matrix by Hunter Seamons using Final Cut Pro (SHN>AIFF>Final Cut>Soundtrack>WAV>FLAC) [2009-08-09]Nice matrix - the set 2 "jam" still holds up as one of the all time best, with the enigma being why they didn't do this kind of improv more often.
