Notes: Cary Wolfson Aud [2006-08-15] Wow! This a gem of an audience tape with great soundfield presence and enough crowd to bring one right into the show. This show has one of my favorite Other Ones, even though it clocks in at only about 17-20 minutes. It has no wasted notes and is structured more like a smooth Dark Star. It starts similar to the 3/16/73 Nassau Star's funk jam but here one hears glipmses of TOO theme. Its upbeat, smooth and happy jamming. After the verse there is a nice MLBJ and some great angular playing which is hard to describe. The rest of the show is solid. Definitely check out this Truckin > TOO!

Notes: Partial set 2 matrix mix using Cary Wolfson AUD shnid=22879 and sbd shnid=1234 by Matt Vernon [2007-03-23]I liked this segment of the show and with the outstanding aud from Cary and a nice sbd from Charlie making a matrix was obvious - it took a lot of little speed corrections to align everything but here it is!

Notes: patched sbd by SirMick [2007-03-22]This show is notable for an all time great jam in Truckin > TOO > Stella Blue. Sound quality and mix are overall excellent. Set 1 runs through the 73 material in rotation without much to distinguish this date from any other this year. Set 1 closes with a full WRS instead of PITB which by now has migrated into a set 2 jam vehicle away from the set 1 closing position it held in 72. Set 2 has an overall up beat tone with lots of bouncy songs to kick off. But what makes this an all-time great show is teh Truckin' > TOO > Stella sequence. Its about 45 minutes long and it surveys most of the major jamming styles of teh GD without losing my attention. This is one of the shows that gets stuck in the player and stands up to repeat listenings.
