| Notes: | This version has the incorrect NRPS set. Missing Bertha/MAMU/Deal/Mama Tried. Several cuts in other songs. Left channel drop out in several places. Good tunes - H2H and Good Lovin'. Duane Allman adds a few tasty licks on Sugar Mag, IHM2 and esp BIODTL (but no extensive jams with Duane this night). Dark Star is concise. Overall a few highlights but the sonic quality, missing songs and song selection never developed much traction with me. Get LAGTGD - its quality is way above this and much more enjoyable. | |||||

| Notes: | sbd correct nrps set - [11-12-2005] NRPS set has less sonic presence, thinner. ok performance for that. Set 1 of the gd is standard until H2H. I think I hear a Darkness tease in there before the last verse. They then do a Dark Star > Rat (shades of 2/18/71). The Dark Star is meldoic and sparse in development. There is a reel flip in Wharf Rat. Ste 2 with Duane Allman on a few tunes is interesting and I'd put them on a "hear once" list. Check out how nicely different they are from what is the standard way they are usually played in 71, especially BIODTL which only varied in the number of starting beats from show to show. Duane has a cool little solo that sets it apart. Good Lovin' is a funky version with some cool feedback and Phil thumping away | |||||
