Notes: fob - very nice sound on this one! The Halfstep > Franklin's is really nice with a great build up at the end of Franklin's. The rest of set 1 is more or less standard until the Lazy > Supplication which is close to being off the hook! It got my feet tapping! Some silent gaps between songs. The Estimated > Eyes combo shows Garcia in a great jamming mood, Estimated has a very nice quiet groove and Eyes has him dancin in his characteristic fast strumming/picking fashion. Brent stays on and jams with the drummers. This makes a nice bride into the drums segment. The Space out of drums is VERY COOL, using reverb and echo and the room reverberations which smoothly flows into a textbook Black Peter. The weak point for me is the Miracle > Bertha >Lovin set 2 closing sequence. This triad was played too often so it comes across when I hear it as rote. Also, Miracle has never touched me in any meaningful way so I'm bummed when it is played. The flip side is Bertha is always a relief so my fondest for it has increased as it marked relief from Miracle's yelling into a bouncy musical song that flows naturally. The Good Lovin' ends the set on an energetic flow. No encore because Brent wasn't feeling well or at least that was what was said! This is a great sounding FOB and the show is a great listen. If you are looking for an unknown gem I'd say you should get the source and give it a listen.

Notes: gatto aud - the sound here is somewhat tinny, similar to what I've heard on recordings that did not decode dolby (not that that has happened here). This performance was typical for this run and I did not note any special moments that would suggest you need this unless you attended the show or are collecting.
