sleepingalligator (0/0) CDR / 3 A View   Recorded on Sony 152 Portable w/Senn 421 Microphones
Notes: (audience recording by Rob Eaton) All three of these shows were supposed to be at Red Rocks, just west of Denver in the foothills but due to very bad weather the venue was moved. I didn't record the 8/12/79 Red Rocks show due to the weather, but did record both 8/13 and 8/14 from virtually the same location with the same setup. Although the 13th is maybe a better show, the 14th is much less common in the trading world. In 79' for reasons unknown to me today I would pause my deck between songs. That policy changed as the years went on but for the most part I was into getting as few song cuts as possible and somehow i had better tape management by pausing. This show is no exception as the only comes during drums/space. I got in later than normal for the 14th and really didn't get settled until Easy To Love You. I raised the mic's as the show progressed as was the custom for FOB taping in the late 70's. There is a small tape artifact early in Jack A Roe that happened after the show in the car. It is very slight and not really a problem.
