Comment
Admin Note: I accidentally merged 2 existing, identical-looking, undistinguished records, although both an early and late show were played. So, this is now a joint entry for both gigs. Two options: a) Use this record, and just mark in your notes which one you have. b) I will also accept 2 more separately-created late, early records if someone cares to make them. Sorry! Diana

Other artist(s): The Velvet Underground; The Fugs

There is no tape of this show currently in circulation as of (1/01). There is a bogus tape mislabeled with this date that is actually a bad partial copy of 3/2/69 first set but not this one. Recorded by Bear (Owsley) on a "Concord" cassette deck model unknown...laid on an Ampex 90-minute cassette. Restoration & Preservation by Rob Eaton. Playback on a Tascam 122 mk111 (azimuth adjusted) > db 926 a/d converter > db 3000 s sample rate converter (variable speed) > panasonic 3800 DAT @ 44.1 kHz By Rob Eaton, DAT>HHb>CDR by Jim Wise. Rob Eaton's list reads this (4.5, 048min, Sbd, A0D0, Cass M-> Dat 0, 48k, Ampex C-90 Master Cass/no dolby->3800 x 0). Yes these disks I ripped with EAC are the actual CDRS that Jim Wise made. D1t01(Dark Star) Pops @ :20 both channels removed, Pop @ :54 both channels removed, Pop @ 1:01 both channels removed. D1t04(Lovelight) Digi Zaps @ 1:46 filtered , Also from 1:49-1:53 filtered as well no more zaps present, Nasty pops from 7:45-7:50 on different channels at random deleted and replaced with opposite channel the ones that were on both channels were filtered, At 7:48 a cut (some music is missing). Well Enjoy!! Conversion/Edit/Seeded to Etree by T. Wiley 01/13/2003. EAC: Secure to extract all tracks @ 100% quality no reported errors. CD Wav: To split track 1 & 3. Cool Edit Pro: To perfrom the minor edits(see comments above). Shn tool: To confirm the sector boundaries. SHN: Via mkwact(seekable) Another Installment Of The Music Never Stopped Project! Many thanks to PT for Jim Wise's source disks :) Enjoy!!
