Edgar H (4/5) / 2 View   "Going To Montreux" [Gardener Remaster]
Notes: The original source of this recording was the "Robert Plant Experience". Many Thanks to all those who had already made a tremendous work creating this one. This is most certainly one of Robert Plant's best night ever. The original lacked a little presence and definition, and Robert's voice was often drowned under the rest when it deserved to be loud and clear. In this version you can hear him in all his glory, hope you'll like it.
Edgar H (4/5) / 2 View   "The Robert Plant Experience" (Eddie Edwards production)
Notes: From Eddie: "The work I did on the recording was to balance the channels, speed-correct the portion from GTC to WLL and remove any obvious unwanted clicks, pops and other noises. I did not apply any EQ, noise reduction or anything like that." Immigrant Song drop-out patched by jameskg. This is the best quality, most complete version of this show available to date. This is one of Robert Plant's best performances. TMP notes that this may be the first recording of Celebration Day played live, maybe even the first time played live. Black Dog is exceptionally good on this night (both Jimmy & Robert are on fire) Robert doesn't quite yet know the order of the verses in Stairway. Points of this release that are of note: 1) Much less hiss. Better transfer. 2) SIBLY is complete, for the first time. 3) Speed corrected & balanced out by Eddie Edwards

Notes: This recording is from the actual "tapers" MASTER and there is no DAT source in the lineage. Thanks to Judge Free and William Tell.
Edgar H (4/5) / 2 View   "William Tell's Overture" (A Group/Personal Project)
Notes: What we've done to make this project: - We've tried to balance the instruments as best as possible, originally the vocals and guitar were the most dominant in the mix, we've tried to add more things that were missing from the raw tape source (low end from bass and drum fills). - We've reduced as much tape hiss as possible. - we've increased the volume of the entire recording, the raw tape sources volume was originally a little low, so we've brought up to make the sound a little fuller and more well rounded. We hope it isn't too loud for everyone. - We've removed all silent portions and drop outs from the raw recording with the exception of the one during "Immigrant Song" because traces of the song are actually still there.
