Notes: LED ZEPPELIN - MISSING LINKS TDOLZ VOL.81 Tracks 1-4 Live In Copenhage 16-03-1969 though the Cover says Stockholm March . Zeppelin Art confirms this mistake. Tracks 5 & 6 Live At The Bath Festival , Shepton Mallet , England June 28 1970 Tracks 7-10 Outtakes recorded at Clearwell Castle Forest Of Dean , Wales , May 1978 CD: (51:08) 1. I Can't Quit You 2. I Gotta Move 3. Dazed And Confused 4. How Many More Times (beginning only) 5. Heartbreaker 6. That's The Way 7. Fire 8. Carouselambra 9. Carouselambra 10. Carouselambra An interesting compilation of material presented in amazing quality from TDOLZ - the best available versions thus far. The first four tracks from Stockholm were recorded from the soundboard on March 14, 1969 (the exact date may still be in dispute). As the CD back cover claims, this Stockholm material was "Taken From The Master Reel To Reel". Statements like that are always questionable, but there's no doubt this is a clean and near excellent recording. This material has also been available on Tarantura's "Kicks" - which used to be the best available version of this show - but as hinted at earlier, this release on TDOLZ is a major upgrade from the Tarantura title.

Notes: 1 Flac various UK and US studios, 1968-1971 Source: 'Early Days (alternate mixes)' bootleg CD (Refined Masters) 1. BABE I'M GONNA LEAVE YOU (take 8) 6.35 Plant sings as if he will never sing again. No overdubs or nice arrangements, just the group trashing the hell out of the piece. 2. BABE I'M GONNA LEAVE YOU (take 9) 6.16 Similar to take 8. 3. YOU SHOOK ME (alternate mix) 7.49 A crude guitar sound (not produced or echoed at all), long harmonica wanderings. Abruptly cut. 4. CELEBRATION DAY (instrumental) 3.25 Previously unreleased. 5. OUT ON THE TILES (instrumental) 4.15 Previously unreleased. 6. HEY HEY WHAT CAN I DO (instrumental) 3.33 Previously unreleased. 7. JENNINGS FARM BLUES (instrumental) 6.24 This instrumental jam sounds very similiar to an electrical version of 'Bron-y-aur Stomp'. 8. FEEL SO BAD/FIXING TO DIE/THAT'S ALRIGHT, MAMA 7.06 An all out Page/Plant acoustic blues jam. Similar to 'Hats Off to (Roy) Harper'. 9. BLACK DOG (alternate mix with count-in) 5.03 Guitars are mixed slightly different. Previously unheard guitar solo that continues through five repeats of the chord theme before fading out. 10. THE BATTLE OF EVERMORE (alternate mix) 5.33 Rough mix. Plant is still working out the vocals. Different lyrics and no backing vocals by Sandy Denny. 11. FOUR STICKS (instrumental) 4.52 Previously unreleased. 12. FOUR STICKS (with Bonzo chat and drum intro) 5.24 Bonzo chatter at the beginning and a count-in. This version has a clearer, more natural sound with superb clarity of the vocals and drums. 13. WHEN THE LEVEE BREAKS (alternate mix) 7.03 Previously unreleased. No overdubs. Alternate lyrics. 14. 'LED ZEPPELIN II' OUTTAKES 4.04 'Whole Lotta Love'/'Heartbreaker'/'Ramble On'.
