| Notes: | mixed aud/sbd [2007-03-05]Overall noticeable hiss, somewhat muddy with variable speed show drags along. Don't know if the aud/sbd mix is just the use of stage mics or if the room was very small so little echo. Not a must hear show. In the info file "A very good mono audience recording supplies the first ~75 minutes of this show, up until the final verse of Dark Star. The recording was stopped in between most songs, and only the first few notes of a few songs are clipped. A somewhat degraded SBD supplies the rest of the show. There are several small portions of this SBD that have level/channel problems. I believe the SBD was mastered on cassette, though most lineages seem to be listed as a reel master. The frequent mix problems, varying pitch/speed, and lack of trademark reel-to-reel zip-outs during cuts strongly support this being a cassette master." | |||||

| Notes: | msr - deadlists version [2206-07-15] San Bernardino "day trip". After Dark Star, sound quality becomes muddy and mix Phil/Bobby heavy. The 11 has some variable pitch issues? The vocals sound high in pitch though the pacing seems ok, begging the question if a true "pitch" adjustment, i.e. frequency shift applied? Performance wise not a must hear - has a Yellow Dog Story, a solid Dark Star (and in reasonable sound) but not a must hear. I like SOTOTW in set 2, but despite the Good Lovin', Dancin' somewhow this set jsut didn't get me excited. The Crypt>Charlie to close out is a standard delivery. | |||||
