Viola Lee Blues Notes about the transfer: This show is brought to you by PFFP, the People for a Fade-Free Phish! ;-) Due to all the recent discussion/controversy over crowd fades during sets, I decided not to do any this time. Yes, you too can be the proud owner of an exact digital duplicate of the original DAT! Oh wait, but I did resample to 44.1. D'oh! Better luck next time... There was a small glitch in "Ghost" that I fixed. It was a skip that was actually present on the DAT, oddly. I filled it in with a brief section of the song from a few seconds later. It's a little noticeable, but much less so than the skip was. The only other notable thing is that there was a break on the DAT source between the end of Set 2 and the encore. I merged the crowd noise and omitted the break. But if you happen to notice an apparent cut in the crowd noise during that short break, that's the reason. The DAT levels were super hot, so I didn't do any normalizing. Considering this was an outdoor show, it sounds quite nice. And it's not as boomy as the mystery Schoeps copy that most of us have already burned. Enjoy! -Mike Masse
