Notes: First 'Wall of Sound' show. Many songs are first-timers. The mix sounds good, but there are some problems that seem to appear in all circulations (see Tech Notes and also deadlists.com.) None of the problems detract from this must-have show. This is an absolute gem. Look at the Tech Notes for my copy of this show for a detailed list of glitches and other notes. Tech Notes: In the beginning, bass drum is very present in mix. While this gives an even more energetic feel to the music, I would imagine that this was not done purposely. Set I Disc 1 1. Promised Land [Sound mixing problems at the board.] 2. Row Jimmy 3. Black Throated Wind 4. Deal 5. Me and My Uncle [Piano gets turned way up in the mix about halfway through the song.] 6. Banter 7. Sugaree [Minor speaker noise (frying ?) about 4:30 into the song. ] 8. Looks Like Rain [Warble around 3:00 (splice?).] 9. Loose Lucy 10. Beer Barrel Polka 11. Mexicali Blues 12. Brown Eyed Women 13. El Paso 14. Here Comes Sunshine Disc 2 1. Playing in the Band [Supposedly spliced at 8:38, but I can't hear it.] Set II 2. Announcements 3. China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider [Jerry's voice does a quick jump from right to left channel and back during China Cat.] 4. Jack Straw 5. Banter 6. They Love Each Other 7. Truckin' [Probable splice at 6:23 although it's hard to notice.] 8. Eyes of the World 9. China Doll Disc 3 1. Big River 2. Ramble on Rose 3. Box of Rain 4. Wave That Flag [Spliced? Timing is 6:11] 5. Sugar Magnolia 6. Uncle John's Band 7. Around and Around E: 8. Casey Jones [Blown amplifier is audible in the mix.]
