Notes: show had 3 songs at the beginning, that were not part of the live performance.(Rip it Up,Blue Suede Shoes, & Workingman's Blues),These were burned to a seperate disc,& the show was re-tracked to fit on 3 disc. d1=11 tracks,d2=8 tracks,d3=9 tracks. The "fillers", or extra 3 songs are more than likely from the 12/12/73 Soundcheck.(Deadbase 11)

Notes: sbd clugston [2007-02-26]Must hear the soundcheck for the band jamming out to some blues tunes. Sort of a folksy home feeling of the 80's acoustic sets excepting its electric! Very goo dsound and mix with some amplitude distortion on Phil's base during loud portions (see C>R for example). Never thought I'd be saying that Big River is a standout but this is a good one with the mix allowing you to listen to Bobby on the left, Keith right. Jerry responds with an unusal Brokedown Palace mid set 1 after the trio of up beat tunes. Set 2 has two long "clear the aisles" raps. Ironically, Lesh says that if you want us to play ice hockey rinks you don't have to clear the aisles (they played the Garden on 4/3 after the 9/72 run at the BMH). In the 2nd rap,Bobby is about to make a promise regarding St Stephen when Jerry and Phil jump in to tell him not to promise anything. amusing because the band had clearly made a decision not to play that song at that time while the fans were persistently asking for it. The PITB>UJB>PITB sandwich is very good and worth a listen. Very good show considering the even better performances before and after. Don't let those stear you away from giving this a spin.

Notes: aud via David Minor - best sound of the 3 night runs in terms of the aud recordings. There are some interesting jams and good versions this night, though they are not as strong/exceptional as the surrounding nights

Notes: flac16; AUDIENCE ANALOG MASTER>CDR>EAC>FLAC; JOE MALONEY MASTER RECORDING [2009-03-21]Attendance bias by me on this one. Had row L center. This recording captures Phil's bass very well - but the downside there is a female who is yelling/screaming for the 1st part of the show in a very annoying manner - but eventually the music takes over and/or she tires out. Maybe the other 2 nights of the run will appear.

[2011-01-22]Very good audience recording for this era and teh BMH. Show marred by lengthy interruptions while they attempt to keep people in their seats.
