Notes: | PHiSH- The Clifford Ball, Day 2 Saturday, 8-17-96 Plattsburgh Air Force Base; Plattsburgh, NY Taper: ? Source: DSBD > DATx3 @44.1kHz > Event Gina S/PDIF IN @44.1kHz > WaveLab 3.0 > SHN EXCEPT Slave: FM SBD > DAT > CD > EAC > WaveLab 3.0 (editing & hiss reduction) > SHN seeded by Art H. Questions, comments-> [email protected] I would like to thank Morgan Bell for the FM Slave source. Without him, this seed wouldn't have been possible. All editing and tracking was performed with WaveLab 3.0. EDITING: The FM Slave was passed through these following devices; DC Remover, and DeNoiser. This was to remove most of the FM noise without disturbing the high-end freq's. The rest of the show was tracked with WaveLab and had the following done; DC Remover. All tracks reside on a sector boundary. This was throughly checked and rechecked numorus times before SHN compression. Enjoy! Notes: This excerpt of the infamous Clifford Ball faltbed jam was taped on the fly by Burris aka Andrew Lowenstern and assisted by a crew that did include Guy Gimbrone (RIP) One must be warned that this is a mobile recording, they were carrying the deck and keeping people away from the cables as they followed the flatbed, dodging cops on horseback and fans. The microphones did get bumped and you will hear it. The only edits I made were to raise the volume of the first 51 seconds where levels were set low and then lower the volume of the next 13 seconds where levels were high, the fade-in to begin existed on the source tape. The excerpt ends abruptly and I left it that way without a fade because that is where the flatbed started moving faster and in everyone's efforts to keep up, the microphones detached from the deck. This is all was that was taped. Enjoy! Seed created on 2/19/04 and dedicated to the memory of Guy Gimbrone (2/6/69 - 9/9/03), my best friend whom I miss dearly. | |||||

Microphones used are unknown at this time because when Guy made this tape for me we were not in the habit of listing sources. One must be warned that this is a mobile recording with Guy holding the microphones and Justin carrying the deck as they followed the flatbed, dodging cops on horseback and fans.
