Notes: | Notes ----- "From Good Ole San Francisco, the Good Ole Grateful Dead". This is a very interesting tape, recorded as the band was moving from the Live/Dead sound to the Workingman's Dead sound. Note the C&W twang in Bob Weir's voice and the alternative arrangements in some familiar songs. According to Deadlists, Jerry plays pedal steel guitar on "Slewfoot" , on "Dire Wolf" (Weir on vocals!) and on "Green Grass". Deadlists also shows "The Eleven", but I've also seen this called "William Tell Jam". In any case, I didn't separate it out from "St. Stephen" with a track marker.

Notes: | Notes: 1. Known low generation lineage and transfer info. 2. Splice in Baby Blue about 4 minutes in, then clipped at the end. 3. Garcia on Pedal Steel for Slewfoot, Dire Wolf, and Green Grass. Peter Grant on Banjo for Slewfoot. Weir on vocals for Dire Wolf.

Notes: | SBD; Audio=2; md5 not in db.etree as of 09-23-2003; Looks like Bob Clevenger did some equalizing on this source. Sound is good, except for the very beginning. Performance is good. Nice to hear Garcia on pedal steel. Not the best 69 show, but still good.
