Notes: sbd - Sound quality and mix are good and balanced. Set 1 starts and ends well with a Sugaree and a TMNS. Set 2 pre drums is uniformly good with a nice flow, beginning with Alabama > GSET. Garcia seems alert and playing well throughout the set. Terrapin is performed in the standard 79 manner. The jam portion is PITB which has what sounds like a brief "All Along the Watchtower" motif. Lots of interesting work with Brent/Jerry et. al. as they fade into the drums segment. This portion has some deep bass notes and organ chords which are fun to hear. The space out of drums has TOO hints but goes into UJB (played 3 times this 4 night run). The Miracle > Bertha > Lovin is standard but played with energy. This 3-song group was just overplayed too much this year so I don't pay too much attention to it. The double encore of Casey/OMSN (all nights this run had double encores) finishes off a well played show that fits nicely on 2 disks.
