Notes: 12/1/79 Stanley Theatre Pittsburgh, PA Master Soundbaord Reel > Cassette > DAT > CDR Legend has it that a handful of folks were allowed to plug into the soundboard for the 2nd set of this show, hence the "Master Soundboard Reel" pedigree, rather than the "Master Soundboard Cassette" provenance that the vast majority of soundboards for the Winter '79 Tour derive from. That's my story and I'm sticking to it..... Also, this copy does not have the 10 second drop out in Looks Like Rain that seems to plague most circulating copies. Enjoy! Disc 1 2nd Set 1. China> 2. Rider 3. Looks Like Rain 4. He's Gone> Jam> 5. Gloria Jam> 6. CC Rider (first time played)> 7. Jam> Drums.... Disc 2 1. Drums> 2. NFA> 3. Black Peter> 4. Sugar Magnolia Encore 5. Drumz> Not Fade Away > Black Peter> Sugar Magnolia Encore One More Saturday Night comments: missing easy to love you Looks Like Rain-open splice for about 10 seconds These are the shns for Skip Jenkin's vine (launched Oct. '01) EAC and SHN transfer by Steve Barbella EAC v.9 secure test and copy extraction-no errors reported SHN via MKW v.97 (seekable) Skip's Notes: I've always been frustrated that certain shows don't circulate in their entirety. At the top of the list was 12/1/79 until yesterday when, through the generosity of Charlie Miller, I received a very nice copy of the complete show including the elusive first set. It was always my understanding that a soundboard of the first set did not exist but . . . here it is.

Notes: set 1: SBD> Rm> Cass> Dat> CD> EAC> SHN, ....missing all of "easy to love you" and first few seconds of "jack straw" and "me + my uncle" sounds like some of the dead air between songs might have been edited out , too........... Set 2 : Master Soundbaord Reel > Cassette > DAT > CDR Legend has it that a handful of folks were allowed to plug into the soundboard for the 2nd set of this show, hence the "Master Soundboard Reel" pedigree, rather than the "Master Soundboard Cassette" provenance that the vast majority of soundboards for the Winter '79 Tour derive from. Notes: Charlie Miller transfer and edit, 2005. "There are a few short patches on the first 3 tracks of Disc 2 made from SBD>Rm>Cass>Dat>CD. " It sounds really good...great jams by Jerry & Phil and the new kid on the block, Brent.
