Notes: Excellent sound and an exceptional show. Set 1 is very well played, though is may not have any singularly best-ever song renditions. Set 2 is note-worthy for having CAT appear early on in the set (instead of post drums) which imparts a more rocked-out feel to the set. Many of the pre-drums set 2 songs are nicely jammed out. This is a core holding in my opinion.

Notes: AUD Source: Three Nakamichi CM-300\'s > patched thru Nakamichi 550 > Sony TC-D5. Mics on a stand, next to the soundboard. Taped and transferred (MAC > CDR) by Jim Wise. Transfer: MAC > CD (likely equipment: Nakamichi Dragon > HHB CDR burner). CDR > EAC > WavMerge > Soundforge > CD-Wave > TLH > FLAC, by Andrew F [2007-05-04]Upgrade from Willy's shnid=7559 (same source, transfer fixes flaws on prior xfer). This is a very rocked out, high energy show with a relentless pace. I like it a lot. Didn't compare this to the Rolfe but they are probably similar. On the Rolfe, I attenuated the cherry bombs which were loud and close. They don't sound nearby here - don't know if they were attenuated or if the mics were further away.

Overall its your typical 1980 sbd mix.

Steve's tape is excellent.

Listening to the show this time I did not have the same high rating as the 1st time I heard it, which might be do to Rolfe being better tape (catches more of the crowd excitement) or my familiarization with the era.
