Notes: rolfe - sound quality a tab below the typical Rolfe recording - sounds that he was a ways back so he picked up more room reverb, or maybe it was the hall. Set 1 is well played typical 79. Ste 2 is given lots of attention and starts with a good Dancin' -> Franklin's Tower,. The He's Gone-> Caution (Do Not Stop on Tracks) Jam-> The Other One-> is what gives this show its positive reputation. The bass intro to TOO is very forceful. The Caution jam is not as good as the one in Nassau in 81. Drums seemed uneventful but the Not Fade Away is tight, infectious without much wankery. The rest is strong but typical 79 playing. A fun show and a good but not great aud recording worthy to hear the crowd reaction to the pre-drums set2.

Notes: sbd via Charlie Miller w/ Stagger Lee fixed. Good sound. This show is overrated if I go by the review in the TC. I like the Anchorage 80 and Nassua 81 TOO's better for the "Caution jams" and there are better intro's to TOO as well, specifically the teasing intro for 2/3/79. Nevertheless, above average for 79 and should be heard.

Notes: flac16; Matrix by Hunter Seamons using Final Cut Pro (SHN & FLAC>AIFF>Final Cut>WAV>FLAC)[2010-01-09]No flaws in the matrixing that I could detect - i don't rank this show as highly as others, i put it in the 2nd quartile of 79 shows.

[2009-05-17]This show gets higher ratings than I think it deserves - I like the New Haven show a tad more, does have a Caution jam though

Notes: flac16; SBD and Audience Matrix Mix of about a 60% SBD to 40% Audience. [2008-08-08]A few places where I noticed that the sbd and aud weren't in phase but these were not too numerous or jarring. There are some nice moments here but this is not one of the dates I'd put on my must hear 79 list.
